I love a beautiful Friday wedding in Vancouver. Especially one looking over or at the water, which is where I found myself yesterday.
We started out at 2pm – I was with our beautiful bride, Rachel, while my second shooter was at the groom’s.
I arrived a bit early, (as I always do) finding myself there before the bride, as was let in by her dad, Ted. Ted is awesome!!
We chit chatted then decided to focus on the details until Rachel got there. Her house was filled with so many hidden treasures, plus arriving early, I love that it gave me some time to play.

and the day begins
i love this image of Rachel(below), wondering if she was pondering about her wedding day
her parents, Ted + Anne, as cute as can be. They are so happy for their daughter to have found Mike.
Rachel’s brother was there to make sure the day ran smoothly ; ) thanks Dan

this had to be the BIGGEST cake I have ever seen! so delish!
and a traditional Japanese dance carried the night of dancing the night away.
Mike and Rachel – much happiness to you both and thanks for being such rockstars on your big day. It was such a pleasure to share in your beautiful wedding celebration at the RVYC.
