SURPRISE ENGAGEMENT SHOOT | VANCOUVER WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER

I am so blessed with the people and couples that I meet . I think this is one of my FAVORITE shot I have ever done in the past 15 years of my career.

I got a call from Chad one afternoon suggesting he’d like to do something special for his girlfriend.

He wanted a Vancouver wedding photographer to come out to document the ACTUAL proposal at a cabin up at Cypress Bowl, where his girlfriend’s dad, proposed to her mom. (insert tears here!)

Of course I jumped up and down for joy and said yes, I would absolutely do it. With much correspondence back and forth between Chad and I picking the exact date we were all available, we agreed it would happen THIS MORNING (yes, an hour ago – I couldn’t WAIT to blog these and share them with you)

Hiding in the bushes, I was like a paparazzi/ninja making sure she didn’t hear of see me in the bushes… I’ll let the photos tell the story

She thought she was going on a beautiful Sunday morning hike until…

ENGAGED !!!!!

Time to call the parents..

her mom was just the cutest thing SCREAMING for 15 minutes with excitement. so awesome!!!!
