I have MANY blogs to post, but I just couldn’t wait to post this VERY special one.
Last Monday I flew to Vegas. Every year I travel down for the WPPI convention and trade show.
This year it was extra special because I got to visit a few extra days, with my friend Lisa, who was visiting her boyfriend Dave who lives down there.
I hadn’t seen Lisa for months, so we decided when in Vegas – let’s make a date, get made up, lets be silly, do a little photoshoot and have a night out on the town because I would love to meet this handsome mystery man she has been with for the past few years.
There was one night when all 3 of our schedules could do it. Thursday. so Thursday it was.
This is Lisa – and yes she’s as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside.

When Dave came home – the energy was new, silly and vibrant. These are 2 crazy kids in love!!
Dave has asked Lisa if they could have an ‘early dinner date night’ and then if we could all meet up for drinks at 8pm at the Cosmopolitan Hotel.
When 8pm rolled around, there was BIG BIG news….
DAVE HAD PROPOSED!!!
and took out a billboard asking her!!!!
EEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!
When in Vegas……. what a night!!! What a high!!!
The next day…. Lisa and I had to go re-visit to see if what just happened, was real
the roses – check
the billboard – check
the ring – check
and what did she say?!!! (see below)
Sadly, Dave had to leave early that morning to catch a flight to LA – but I can tell you from my perspective, it was just so sweet and special watching Lisa just take it all in

I have been a wedding photographer for 20 years and this proposal takes the cake!!!
Lisa had always wanted her name in lights and her fiancé Dave, certainly made her dream come true.
